Champagne is a neutral so you can choose any color you like. I would probably choose something on the softer side so it wasn’t too high contrast with your color.

I think pink and champagne look beautiful together! Of course, I’m biased because those were my colors, haha. I let my bridesmaids choose different dresses and shades of pink that they liked best. I love the look of pale pink, but it is a really difficult color to pull off, so my girls ended up choosing pretty vibrant shades for themselves. Here’s how it ended up looking:

Could you do them in a champagne, too? My dress was “vanilla,” but it’s definitely closer to champagne than white!

I am really loving the champagne/blush color of this Allure I just tried…

I really really want to have crimson and gold (crimson dresses with gold/champagne accents). I need to go back and hold a crimson dress up next to my dress though.

@photoboothsmile I hear you! I still have people (mostly just thise who have only seen pictures) ask why I let my maids wear a color so close to my dress…aren’t I, as the bride supposed to be the only one in “white” or a light color?

(besides, hey—didn’t you see Pippa Middleton’s moh dress?)

I think my guests wouldn’t confuse me with my bridesmaids?!?! My dress—as well as yours is more than bride-y enough for us to not to be mistaken for a maid or guest in a light colored dress!

Do your favorite light color and don’t worry—it will end up amazing….how could it not, with you in that amazing dress!

Good luck and let me know what you end up with!

Okay first off, welcome to weddingbee! Second, OMG your dress! The back is SO STUNNING! 😀  I do like the colors you’ve chosen, though i’m partial towards brighter colors, so you may be on to something with your fears.  I personally would go with a brighter pink – I often find that the pastels are tough for all girls to wear, so would personally go with something more vibrant.  That being said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the lighter pink against your champagne dress!

Wow, that was a mouthful. 😀  Whatever you choose, it’s all going to look so gorgeous!

I love the idea of doing bridesmaid dresses just a few shades darker than your dress. I actually think the brighter bridesmaid dresses draw more attention and if the girls wear dresses of a lighter color you will actually stand out more!

this dress in “petal pink” is a great shade and isn’t too pink

these Dessy dresses in “palomino” are also a great choice!
