I cant remember a wedding where my shoes didnt kill me and I ended up in barefeet. Recently I have made the smart move of bringing flip flops with me to change into. A friend of mine bought all of her bridesmade flip flops with swarovski crystals on them which were super cute but $65 a pair! NO WAY! I wanted to do this for my ladies and give them to them at out mani/pedi cocktail party and then have them bring them to the wedding as well. I bought flops from Old Navy and found these cute rhinestone buttons as Joanne Fabric. They ended up costing me about $7 a pair. What do you think?

I think they're super cute! I just wish I could wear those type of flip flops (because I'd make them too!) :) You have lucky girls.

I've been thinking of doing the same thing. How did you get the buttons on there?

Linds1769: It was sooo easy. I took foshing line and string it through the botton and tied a knot. Then I placed the button on top and took the ends of the fishing line and passed them under the straps to the front and tied a knot. then I just kept wrapping the line around the under of the botton and tying knots. I clipped the line and then added a dot of hot glue under the botton on either side.

Hard to explain but you can def. figure it out when you have all the stuff. It took no time at all!
