I have two bridesmaids, and I love mismatched BMs.
Not sure if I can pull it off.
They will be the same designer, floor lenght chiffon. One in mocha, and one in cappucino.
Think it could work?
The two colours are the neutral ones pictured here:
Or do I stick with one colour?

@LoveLaceandWine: My mom had only 2 bridesmaids and they wore different dresses in similar color. One was more of a wine red color, the other was a champagne pink color. For early 80’s they were ahead of their time lol. I think it worked really well. I say go for it.

Go for it. I actually had 3 bridesmaids and none of them wore the same color or style of dress. I loved the way they looked.

@LoveLaceandWine: Two similar colors would be fine IMO, as long as they don’t clash. I wouldn’t do hot pink and canary yellow, but similar colors would be nice, even with only 2 BMs.

I think the two colors you have chosen would work nicely together, as they are still cohesive. Anything more disparate and I think it would look awkward. You want them to look like part of the bridal party, not just guests at the wedding, kwim??
I wondered if I could pull this off too, but went with matching colors (matching everything actually) as I felt for my wedding that it looked better.

I think it would look gorgeous!

@NurseMandie: Oh my gosh. She really was ahead of the times. lol
Thanks ladies. I’m still unsure. Somehow it makes more sense with more bridesmaids, and not just two.
