My colors are teal and black-- but how matchy matchy should I go. I was thinking black table clothes- teal gems sprinkled around, pink flowers-- but I want paper lanterns too..these is where I am stuck- my dress is ivory, so should I get teal and black lanterns, teal and another color, or teal and white-- I need some advice fellow bees!!! What do you suggest?

My idea for the wedding is "Simple and Classy and Fun" - we are having famous daves as the caterer

For the table lanterns you could go with the majority being teal. Then to keep it from being too matchy matchy you could sprinkle in a few ivory and pink ones. To see what shades work best together you could play with some color templates online. I think adding an accent color such as the pink or ivory would make the teal and black pop.

I think since you want to keep it more on the fun side, i would definitely add pops of pink and white/ivory with the laterns - it will lighten up the feel a bit. I love that you're having Famous Dave's cater! Yum!!
