No, 6 months out is a good time frame. I'm in a wedding and we just ordered them 4 months out.
Call the salon first. Some designers specially make the dresses and they can take longer. My dresses take about 20 weeks to come in. Crazy, I know, but that was the dress I loved :)
I would say call the salon and ask them how many weeks it takes to get a certain designer in. Most likely though you will be ok. I just ordered all of my BM dresses, we are at 4.5 months out.
I ordered mine 8 weeks before my date at davids bridal... becuase I took too long choosing. One girls dress will come in two days before the wedding....
I would go sooner rather than later. After 5 months out you risk not being able to get cetain dresses in my experiance.
yup, if i could do it again i would have definitely ordered earlier. good luck! :)

A salon near where I live is doing a huge (20% off) sale on all bridesmaids dress orders. The problem is it is 6 months before my date. Is that too late to order dresses?
That is a huge savings for my ladies that will be purchasing their own dresses, but will I be cutting the timeline too close?
