I need your help! I have 5 bridesmaids… 4 live out of state and one is in the third trimester of her pregnancy… needless to say I have been on my own with the bridesmaid dress shopping.. not exactly fun… and the girls have not really said yes or no on anything… I am so confused!! My theme will be rustic romance think vintage lace & burlap wedding in June in the mountains. I have a ceremony dress and reception dress… which style bridesmaid dress do you like… AND what colors?? The pink, flowy one seems more romantic, and the grey structured seems more vintage (I would put them in flat ballet slippers). I was going to do blush or ivory flowers. Thanks!! Any other dress/colors/suggestions would be appreciated as well!!

I think the pink one is really adorable, and it would fit your theme better than the others. BUT, I dont know how good it would look on a pregnant tummy.

The gray one makes me think of old hollywood and would be more fitting for a formal event, the pink one definitely seems more rustic romantic (especially if you got rid of the strap IMO).

Should have said… pregnant bridesmaid will have baby by wedding. Thanks ladies, all suggestions welcome… keep them coming : )

The pink one would probably fit the theme better, though I admit personally I prefer the grey dress if we weren’t trying to fit them to a theme.

I have similar issues; my bridesmaids are spread out, and I have two bridesmaids that would have just had babies right before the wedding. Here is something to consider for the pregnant one… It’ll be hard to judge how much weight she’ll drop after giving birth and before the wedding, so you probably want to pick something “forgiving” like a flowy type of dress, and maybe an empire waist since her natural waist may not be very defined yet. Find out if she’s planning on breast feeding, because if she will, she needs a special bra. They are bigger and will help keep her from leaking onto her dress, but it also means she needs to have straps on her dress, probably thicker ones. I’m having my bridesmaid dresses made; they’ll be empire waist, super flowy, and I’m probably going to have halter straps put on. It’ll have a Roman-ish kind of feel, which isn’t what you want, but I just wanted to pass on the advise I was given. Hopefully this helps you find the right dress to fit the feel of your wedding and keep your ladies comfortable.

I’d say the pink dress without the strap…love that you are going with dresses that your girls can wear again sometime after the wedding!
