I like the first option and the last. If you want a ton of color, then obviously the first is best. But then if you don’t want the girls dresses to be a big focus, then the sashes are cool too. And with the sash option, you could even have the girls all buy their own dresses and then buy the sashes seperately.

Depends on what look you’re wanting. Do you want some unison in their look or do you want everyone to look different? I personally am one to pick some matching at least, so I voted for the black dress with different colored sashes.

I’m going to vote “Other”. I would go with the same color but different dress styles. I think the options with the different colors or different sashes is just too much going on.
and the one with the alternating blue and purple just looks like it’s too matchy matchy too me.

I would like to second Meowkers that it might look better with different styles, but I love the idea of both 1 and 2. Yay for Brides who love colors!

yeah i am one who LOVES colors. The brighter the better. but obviously I do not want everyone in flourencent colors. I wasnt very partial to the blue/purple alternating and just have a hard time picking just one or two colors! especially after looking online and seeing other brides do each Bridesmaid or Best Man a different color but in the same dress. My only thing with the black dresses and different color sashes is that I went to 2 weddings this past summer and both had black bm dresses so I dont want to seem like Im going with their ideas

I love using different colored flowers so if you had different color dresses you couldn’t do that!

i like the second pic, if that matters. hehe.

i like the first option. i think all the colors are so pretty!

This one was my favorite:
The other dress just seemed too simple- although it probably wouldn’t seem so if they were carrying bouquets!

I’m going to agree w/ both meowkers and rofarrell.
I feel your color options either have too much going on or just a little too much matchyness. Its very colorful and pretty, but distracting. Then again perhaps in works well with your overall wedding theme.
I would suggest going w/ different styles of a short dress in one color w/ different colors of flowers OR choosing one short dress style in different shades of a color… like lavander and violet (similar to your blue and purple option, but the dress is sort of bland – I like the style of your second link best) w/ different flower colors. I like the idea of giving each girl a different flower color for bursts of color – fun, but classy and suddle.

I really like the variety of colors. I think a simple dress like the one you chose would be cute in different shades!

I love the different colours! My BM’s are wearing different colours AND different dresses cos they’re all SO different in body shape and their own style and I really want them to feel confident and happy that day! I love all the different colours but the sashes was good too! I personally don’t really like the two alternating colours cos it’s all a bit matchy matchy for me – but that’s just me! I’m planning on tying the “different dresses in different colours” together by having my lovely BM’s all carry the same bouquet. I’m excited about it! I think go with whatever you think will suit your wedding best!

If you do different colors – will it feel like a unified party? I liked the black dresses so that everyone had at least a common theme and would feel connected. Also, other guests will likely be wearing a few of those colors – will that be wierd if a guest and a Bridesmaid or Best Man have the same color on?
