All same colour? Could you get your MOH to try on dresses in her local member of the chain of shops, then you order them all from one shop more convenient to you?

I don’t see what differ it makes (to her) who orders it. Just explain to her that you would have one less stress, knowing for sure all of the dresses are coming from the same batch. Besides, what if she ordered hers, and something else was wrong with it? I’d rather have them all together in one bundle so I know exactly if they’re right or wrong.

I was told with my dresses that it’s best to order them all at the same place and time, because the dresses will come from the same batch of dyed material.

I think this can go either way.  I’ve been in a wedding where we all ordered our own dresses from wherever, and there was no problem with them not all being from the same dye lot.  They all looked exactly the same.  I ordered them all together for mine just because it was easiest for everybody and it was nice to know they were all ordered, and all came in at once.  But if you’re fine with trusting your bridesmaids will get them ordered in time, I doubt different dye lots will be noticeably different.

Even if it’s a different dress I would order them all together, because you don’t want them to be done in different dye lots and then see a variation in color.  Just my opinion though!  Good luck!
