Why don’t you give your bridesmaids some criteria (long, knee length, strapless/non, fabric) and then tell them to email you 3 photos of 3 different dresses they think they’d feel comfortable in, and see if you can find something that’s similar to all of them. Maybe limit them to David’s Bridal, or like a couple designers with a lot of options. You’ll get a better idea from them than from us!

I’m not sure it would coordinate well. I like PP suggestion though.

And that dress is fabulous btw. You look so pretty πŸ™‚

Your dress is lovely! Anyway, from personal experience, I had a taffeta dress and my bridesmaids ended up all wearing chiffon. It looked totally fine and not out of place at all. I like the above suggestion about having all of your maids help in the search as well. That might help give you some good ideas. Good luck!

My dress is all over lace (satin underlay) and my bridesmaids are in chiffon.

I think it’s fine.  I ended up picking a dress that’s super flattering on all of them.  The trick for me was def empire waist and flowy not tight.  That should work for your girls as well.

This is the Bari Jay (style 765) dress we chose for the bridesmaids (but in grey):

And here is my 7 month pregnant friend in it (again, it will be in grey):

And this was the second choice (Alfred Angelo style 7141):

@alyesue:  I know someone who’s dress was satin and her bridesmaids were in chifon and from pictures I don’t think it looks flat or bad in any way. It looked beautiful. πŸ™‚

@alyesue:  Again, I’m so late! So, I’m sorry but for starters.. you look phenomenal. And I chose this dress as well so I’m perusing wedding boards for more ideas on things and saw this. I couldn’t be more opposite winter wedding, totally different size. But I chose Alfred Angelo Vintage Modern Bridal in nude for my maids and deep red for my matron. Best of luck!!!! I’m sure several fabrics could work as long as they have a pretty “flow” to them!

@alyesue:  oh my goodness, girl! 5 months! Pick! Lol. I’m 11 months and I’m flustered trying to make sure that stuff is all final! We’re going an Art Deco vintage lace winter wonderland type theme so those were perfect and the “soft net” is kind of chiffon looking so chiffon, I think, woul look great too. I like the contrast of just howwwww pretty and sparkly our dress is and how soft the chiffon type looks! Champagne blush are some of my favorites and will look phenomenal w this dress. I really like the Bari jay posted above. I think that on champange or blush for yours would look gorgeous! And no!!! I’m glad our dress is sort of an anomaly but mannnnn is it hard to find a starting ground that’s been done Before. It’s been a fun time matching things so far. I’d love to help if I can lend an opinion being a fellow perla bride!!! Good luck, Hun!!
