I need some help. I am stuck between two Watters bridesmaid dress that I absolutely love. My bridesmaids have told me that they like them both and would be happy with either dress. My sister and Maid/Matron of Honor really prefers the first dress, which was the orignal dress I fell in love with. She is the only one of my maids who isn’t tall and thin, so she was a bit hesitant from the beginning about what dress she would be wearing. I want all of my girls to feel comfortable and I would love for this to be a dress that they can REALLY wear again.
Dress #1 has pockets. Which I think is way cool! I also love the double straps, which may be hard to see in the picture. But is this something that could be worn again?
Dress #2 is a bit more classic. I love how flowy it is, but not sure if a strapless dress would flatter all of my girls. Maybe it would? I want everyone to be comfortable.
What do you girls think?!

Oh! This may help…. The wedding is outdoors on intercoastal waterway on April 30th. We are not having a super formal wedding. I don’t think the groomsmen are wearing tuxes… still working on that part!

I think both would work well, but I would go with the one that your sister likes, so she feels comfortable.

I prefer the first dress – it is slightly more sophisitcated, and it has straps and pockets = win!

I like dress number 1. I’m super petite but the cut of the bust on the second dress would make me look pregnant because my chest is out of proportion to the rest of my body (C cup on a 100 pound frame). I also just like structured dresses better.

Honestly, I would be more likely to wear #1 again than #2.
And I agree with noritake’s reasoning.

I love the 2nd dress! If i was a Bridesmaid or Best Man i could see wearing that again I wouldnt wear #1 again because of the shine. Shiney dresses make me think of prom dresses

I like #1 better. The flowy type of dress that is #2 makes me feel uncomfortable/fat.
Have you given any thought to the BMs all having different dresses of the same color? That’s what mine are doing because mine are all different shapes/sizes and I know there won’t be anyway in hell I’ll be able to please them all with one dress.

I think dress #1. It is more classy. I think dress two might seem more comfortable at first glance but, #2 is strapless. A slightly “thicker” girl might not be comfortable with that all night especially with dancing….having to constantly pull up…. Just a thought.

Thanks, ladies! I appreciate all of the feedback!! Yall are great! I LOVED dress number one when we first started looking. The pockets had me at first sight! But with so many options out there I quickly started second guessing my original decision. After all, I have changed my mind on so many different aspects of the planning 🙂 Guess you have that with an 18 month engagement!
@ChantelleyLace: I have considered doing different dresses of the same color. In fact, recently I have seen photos from wedding where that was done and it looks so cool! Very different and unique! We will definitely go that route if we end up with indecision.
