One of my bridesmaids lives out of state. We have decided on a dress (which the out of state bridesmaid has seen in pictures) without her being present at the shop. Can she buy the dress at a shop in her state instead of having to come out here? Has anyone done this before?

Typically you buy the dresses all at one store so the dye lot will be similar. Most of my bridesmaids are out of state. They had to go to a local bridal salon to be measured, then called the measurements in to the salon where I picked the dresses. They were also able to pay for the dresses over the phone. Once they come in, they can be shipped to your other bridesmaid if needed.

The store in your state might be able to order it if she just has someone take her measurements. My sister did that for an out-of-state wedding she was in.

Agree with Riley. Have the dresses shipped to your bridesmaids after you receive their measurements. Will probably alleviate future problems when having mis-matched dress colors. Good luck!
