At the moment it looks like I’m going the Etsy route with my bridesmaids… I also really love the 50’s look, so here are some shops that might help you if you don’t already know them 🙂  Just be aware that your girls might need to get some alterations done afterwards, no matter how good your measurement taking is there is always the possibility for an off-fit!!

@raisedonrobbery:  My bridemaids and I are still looking, we are dragging our feet 🙁  Actually most Etsy vendors will really try to work with you on service if there is something that you don’t like, I had one girl refund me the cost of alterations because she made a mistake sewing the dress.  I think that fit can be a gamble, though.  I have ordered from Miss Brache 3 times and each time there’s been just soooomething slightly off, but I still love her stuff and the quality of it.  I’ve also ordered from Dig for Victory and it fit perfectly and was high quality.  Sometimes if you receive something that doesn’t fit, if you contact the seller they will offer to do alterations if you send it back to them.  It all depends on how willing the seller is to work with you.. usually they are good with customer service, though.

Good luck!!
