    Ladies:

I have a dilemma. I went to House of Brides for a dress fitting for the bridesmaids only.  The problem is I found out that the dresses are cheaper  online...the exact same dresses.  Has anybody had any experiences with purchasing  dresses online? Please advise and thanks.

Also, I feel kind of guilty because I  believe this would have been commission for the sales rep.

WHY feel guilty?! Online stores can charge a lot less because a lot of them are not brick an mortar stores and therefore don't have the overhead costs. I bought my wedding dress online and am VERY pleased and it was much cheaper than having purchased it in a store. I think what you're doing is best--try the dress on in store and then buy them online. I want my BMs to get the best prices-- I dont care about a saleperson's comission, it's not like charity...

:) Good to hear you had a great experience purchasing online!

I leaning towards that route....They can save a lot of MONEY by doing so.

    Thanks

If you can find them online - go that route!  I had my bridesmaids order theirs online - we got them for $130 and the cheapest any bridal store would offer them to us was $185 (and that was with a discount for ordering 6 at once - which online didn't offer).  That's a really big difference and makes the dresses so much more affordable for your maids!
