@KittiLove:  I’m not sure what kind of style you’re after; but have you tried places like ModCloth/Forever21/LuLus/Unique Vintage/etc? I’m in a similar boat with my girls and those are places we’re looking 🙂

How many girls do you have? I would just buy “regular” dresses at the mall or something.

my girls dresses where 50 bucks. They loved them, their skin tone looked amazing and they were super comfortable and could dance all night!

I would recommend Macy’s and just buying off the rack. I bought a long dress to swear to a formal wedding there for $36 down from over $200 (I had a 20% off coupon for being a card holder), went to David’s bridal recently and saw an entire line of dresses from the same company including the dress I bought All at regular retail.

FWIW, i picked targets long one shoulder bridesmaids dress for my girls $69.99 I thought was a great price!

My girls got dresses from DressBarn for $45. The one they got isn’t available anymore (I’m so glad I picked them up when I did!!). The only drawback was that the dress wasn’t available in plus size and my MOH is a plus-sized gal so we are having to figure out something for her. We are either getting hers custom made to match the other girls or getting another dress from DressBarn that is similar style but a differnet shade of blue.

@KittiLove:  if you don’t care about them matching, choose a colour and they can buy their own dresses in shades of that colour. maybe agree on a fabric?

my ‘maids bought their own dresses at consignment stores. One cost $15, another $18, and my third already owned a violet dress in chiffon, so bonus for her!
