I’m trying to get my bridesmaid gifts squared away. Our wedding is in December and our colors are red, silver, and white. I have awesome girls who include my sister (MOH), my best friend, two roomates/great friends from college, my fiance’s cousin, and another cousin who I’m close with. 2 of them are nurses, 2 are teachers, and one my sister is a sociologist. They are throwing me a very large shower. Our families are huge and have always been there for me.
I already got them silver clutches, silver pashima scarves to keep them warm, and the personalized hangers. I want to put more in there and possibly personalize each gift more. I’m not sure what I can do that would be budget friendly but still mean a lot to them. I’m opent to any suggestions.

megs102: Rather than buy the same thing for each BM, I would personalize them with a gift purchased with the individual in mind. Shop like you are buying them a birthday gift. What are their interests?

Are the clutches and pashmina for the wedding? Because to me that is a gift for you and your wedding and not for them. And if not why would you get them all the same colour?
I would go with what Julie said- shop like you would for their individual birthdays.

I guess the clutches and pashminas are for me. They don’t have to use either. I also thought they would be useful in the future. I use my silver clutch a lot, so I thought it would be a nice thing to give them. I’ll try to buy the rest, like it was their birthdays.

I got mine all matching necklaces to wear but then picked out a few personal things. My MOH is getting a macaron book and a handmade shell bracelet I made, while one bridesmaid is getting a candle that looks like a (very edible) cupcake and the other a fancy bath set. It wasn’t very expensive since they were on sale or handmade!

megs102: I got my bridesmaids things for wedding day, but also wanted to do something more personalized/practical. I got them each Tervis tumbers with their names on them. I waited for a sale, and I’m really happy with them- they match the wedding colors, but are perfect for hot or iced bevs- perfect to go container…something they can use every day. My maids are all very different..some are teachers, nurses, busy corporate world folks and my cousin is in grad school, but I figured they can each use it. They ended up being about $20 each with lid, personalization… IMO it’s money well spent.
