Are these your bridesmaids that don't like robes or just random friends? You could get them simple cotton robes in solid colors, but don't put anything wedding related (no bridesmaid, bm, etc). I think names would be ok.
I'm all in favor of gifts that are 100% reusable after the wedding. Out of every gift I received from the wedding I was in 2 years ago, the only one I really used after the wedding (and still use) is a nice beach towel monnogrammed with the couple's initials that I put out for guests because it's very soft.
Robes seem nice to me, esp. if you had their names put on the back. I'd definitely reuse that!

I know this has been discussed before, and usually the thoughts are "robes to get ready in is such a cute idea! think of the pictures!"
But my question is, do you have a robe? If so, do you use it? If not, would you like one/enjoy one as a gift???
I've been talking to some friends who all say they don't have a robe & wouldn't use one (and would donate theirs after the fact).... kinda has me second guessing it. Also, this wouldn't be the only part of the gift. However, this raises another question: (cheaper) comfy cotton robe in a solid color & 2 or 3 other items OR (more expensive) print satin robe & maybe only 1 other item?
