try stores like steinmart, tjmax, and ross. they always have brand names for cheap.
I second tjmaxx or marshalls! I have had a Guess bag from tjmaxx for 5 years that is still great!

Lands End has super cute bags and they monogram all of them for like an additional $5

I want to buy weekender bags (overnight bags, except somewhat bigger) for all of my bridesmaids, but I am having a tough time finding ones I really like for a reasonable price.

I found one in the Brides.com April/May 2008 issue that I loved, a Murval Paris at Bridgette's for $19 - unfortunately, they no longer carry that bag. :(
