How about a spa gift certificate? this way they can do with it what they want. I always hesitate thinking about giving them something based on their outfit for the day- i think i would always wonder if they really like it or are just going to wear it the day of the wedding and then put it away forever...
I got mine pearl necklace that were on sale at Macy's. They're great because they're timeless and are very versatile. They can be used to spruce up any outfit not just now but fifty years from now.

Anyone have any creative ideas for bridesmaid gifts?? My girls dresses are a pink (almost fuscia), have an empire waist and the straps cross in the front and back to make a v scoop. So, I was thinking that I would either give a bracelet or earrings (because a necklace would be too much up there). Any other ideas for gifts- kind of wanted to get them a couple gifts, since I do not plan on giving an expensive piece of jewlrey....
