The only bridesmaids I have are my sister, and my best friend as MOH. I wanted to get them gifts, but we are on a small budget so I didn’t know how well I could come up with something. This is what I got.
I got them each a personal makeup bag with their intitial.
And I got this, to put inside of them.
I got two REALLY cute zebra print jewelry boxes from TJ Maxx. 8$.
Two cupcake bath fizzers from The Bath Bakery. 5$.
Two tootsie pop bouquets, Dollar Tree. 1$.
Two humidy/strong hold hair spray. Dollar Tree. 1$.
Two boxes of vanilla flower petal soap petels. Dollar Tree. 1$.
Two green apple bath salt. Dollar Tree. 1$. Two travel size deodorant. Dollar Tree. 1$.
Two St. Ives travel lotion. Dollar Tree. 1$.
Two Hello Kitty pocket tissues. Forever 21. 1.50$.
One earring/necklace holder for MOH. Forever 21. 8$.
One gift set of undies for MOH. Forever 21. 8$.
One blush for my sister. Forever 21. 2$.
One vintage purse mirror for friend. Forever 21. Matching “diamond” earrings from Charlotte Russe. 8$ each.
Plus, I’m paying for their hair and make up which isn’t cheap AT ALL.
I also might get my friend a gift card to her favorite store, because her birthday is the day before the wedding.
What do you think? Too cheesy? I was shopping with a friend and she suggested we hit up the dollar tree and I was really suprised to find a lot of great things!
My sister and best friend wouldn’t care a bit if I didn’t get them a thing, so I guess nothing could have been too cheesy. (:

Are you me? We both have small weddings, both on a budget, and you have two girls in the wedding party just like me-my sister and my best friend. Weird. =-)
I’m giving my MOH and bridesmaid wraps that match their dresses as they were both concerned that it might be cold during an outdoor ceremony in October–and in NY, you really never know. In the past month we’ve had 80 degree temps and snow. I’ve also been looking on Etsy and I adore the little handstamped necklaces.
I LOVE your bag idea. It is so cute! It will make them feel super pampered. You are an awesome bride!

I think your gift shows you put thought and time into selecting something useful and pampering. If you are also paying for hair and makeup, I think you are set.
And if you normally get your friend a bday gift, then yep, get her a gift card for that separately. I’d also present it separately, so she knows you are thinking about her and not just the wedding.

I think those are great gifts!
I stalked all the craft stores for sales and good coupons- since none of my ‘maids are very crafty so they didn’t know, I collected jewelry pendants and stuff with a small jewelry box- they looked nice and I stayed in my tiny budget.

Those are so thoughtful! I’m very impressed. Where did you find the makeup bags?

Thanks everyone. Yes, I plan on giving my friend her “birthday gift” aside from this, and I’m suprising her with a bday cake at the rehersal, since she is giving up her birthday to be there. I ordered the makeup bags on etsy.com. (:
