So far things have gone smoothly and i have had hundreds of ides in my heads to choose from until now....gifts for my BM's and MOH. I am already giving them swarovski crystal flip flops to change into during the wedding but have no ideas past that. I cant even find jewelry that would do well with the dress! Does anyone have any suggestions? Something different? And something grand for the best MOH out there?......

In the last wedding where I was a BM...the bride took us to the spa and got us massages. She even packed a little hamper with snacks and mimosas. It was nice to be able to slow down and have some time with the bride in the midst of the wedding madness.

Honestly, we acted like we were jsut buying really nice birthday presents for all of our BMs and GMs.  My FI has a billion flasks laying around from being in various weddings and we figured it might be a better idea to just get each person something they'd really like.  Maybe that would work for you guys too?

For my sister, the MOH, I got her a big old gift card to get a loooong massage.  She loves getting them so much but can never afford them!

Love the spa massage idea! Thanks so much minneapolitan You are right, thinking of it as a birthday gift is a great idea. I agree that no one needs 15 flasks or something that dont really want at the end fo the day!

I picked out a necklace for each of my BMs in a color that compliments the BM dresses but is still funky enough they can wear it after the wedding.  Then I added in an adorable makeup pouch from an Etsy seller.  A little further along, I decided that I didn't want them to carry flowers, so now I'm also getting them Silver satin evening bags from Ebay to carry in the wedding (with the full intention of stealing my sister's after the wedding, since she's not a big purse gal!)

I'm giving my matron, maid and bm a nekclace with their birthstone. Actually, I was going to get them garnet earrings cuz my wedding day falls is on January but I had a hard time getting 5 pairs of earring so I ended up getting them the necklace. Why don't you try that idea?

Pick something that fits their individual personalities and interests that won't be a dust collector. Think about what you would buy that was non-wedding-related for Christmas or their birthdays.

Jewelry is such a personal thing that many people don't consider it to be the best idea for a bridesmaid gift, especially since it will only be worn the one time and it's not really for them if it's for your wedding. Also, jewelry is one of the things that they are responsible for providing themselves.

I had three bridesmaids and I got them each a tote bag in their favorite color and then filled it with things. I had flip-flops for them to wear at the reception, a pearl necklace that I had made from an etsy seller, monogrammed towels, and some chocolate. I also paid for their hair the day of. What helped me was picking a color for each bridesmaid (their favorite, convientely it was pink, blue, and green) and then looking for things that were the same but came in those three colors (like the tote and towels).

The etsy seller that I used was great, she really got my ideas and gave me exactly what I wanted and it was really high quality but really affordable. Let me know if you want her name!

Thanks so much. I would love the etsy sellers name. So far Etsy has been my savior for almost everything!!

@TaraLynn - ETSY of course!  I bought from a couple of different sellers so each girl has something fabulous and unique!

I am doing feather earrings and 'flowers in a can' from fredflare.com. soooo adorable and i figured that since it was in may it was appropriate. Also gift cards to their favorite coffee shops. of course. :)
