We have 2 adult bridesmaids (MOH plus one more) and 3 Jr. bridesmaids. I’m totally lost as to what to get for their gifts, especially the younger girls (ages 9-13). I want to ensure that the Jr. Bridesmaids gifts are “equal” in that none of the girls feel they got a “better” gift – but 2 of the girls are girly girls and one is more tomboyish. I’m not set on giving them identical gifts but I at least want them to be similar in type / price.
what are some good ideas for Jr. bridemaids gifts?

I would get them something they would really use. Gift cards to their favorite store maybe

All of my BMs were age 16 to 21, and I got them each a tote with their inital on it, and then put small things inside, such as a candle, picture frame, etc. I went this route so it didn’t seem like I was favoring one over the other, and they could swap items if one got a specific scent they liked better…
Didn’t have any Jr BMs, but for the flower girl I just got her a smaller tote with her name on it, and got her a bridal Barbie doll. 9 might be pushing it for a doll, unless that is somethign she is into. Or you could get them some sort of jewelry, like a necklace with their name, or something like that.
When in doubt, I’d ask their parents for advice – sometimes they know best!

@engleman10513: I was wondering if that would work – maybe I’ll include a small one along with something else. thanks!
@Twyla_Smith: true about asking the parents. With kids I feel like its hard becuase it seems to me what they like changes all the time. What they’re into one minute seems to be uncool the next time I talk to them. the youngest of the three is actually the decidedly non girly girl – she’s a wildcard so even tougher. Hmmm…
@MrsBlah: these are cute! I like the idea of personalized jewelry! Thanks!

@Snapdragon2804: You’re welcome 🙂 They’re $50, which isn’t bad for a nice keepsake. Good luck and congrats!

Monogrmaing is really in! I had the same issue and just decided on different monogramed items for each of my bridesmaids. I have been to many many online stores for price shopping but I ended up buying from: http://www.alphaonlineshop.com/ I should be getting my order soon! I hope this helps you too.

@Snapdragon2804: Set a budget and then shop for each girl like it’s theie birthday. Individual gifts that reflect their likes will always be better received then a generic one size fits all gift.

Thanks everybody! Should I give the gifts the morning of, or after the rehearsal dinner?
