One of my bridesmaids just told me yesterday she is pregnant. First of all, I am very happy and excited for her. However, i AM worried about her dress fitting. Our BM dresses just came in last week. They are Bill Levkoff and took six months to come in, so ordering another dress is probably not an option. She will be about 5 1/2 months pregnant at the time of the wedding, so I’m not even sure if she’ll have popped by then. But her dress has a sweetheart neckline, she already has big boobs and in two months they have gotten even bigger! I don’t want them popping out of the dress. I really want her in my wedding, so I have no plans on asking her to step down. Any ideas on what to do about a dress?

Pehaps someone can do some rushed alterations or you can add a cover up to the gowns if your worried about her “boobs”.

Would you be okay if she had to get a different dress?

I don’t mind if she has a different dress. All the girls each have a different one already, they are just the same designer/fabric/color. I would like at least the fabric and color to match.

I don’t know if this is possible, but could you order a yard of fabric so that they can add onto the dress in alterations if necessary?

Keep your eye out for a used dress in the same designer/color, in a bigger size! Which designer/color is it?

“Our delivery time is approximately three months from when we receive your order from the retailer. Please confirm all delivery dates with your bridal salon at the time of purchase. We do offer rush delivery to our retailers for an additional charge.”
It says the dress should only take 3 months with a rush fee you should have no problems getting a new dress (other than maybe her budget)

@winterbride1593: Bill Levkoff in Satin in Euro Eggplan
@asscherlover: that’s a good idea, thanks! Maybe they can use extra material from the other girls dresses too… if there is any…
