    How old is she? If she’s immature, I would just straight-up tell her that this is the dress that other BMs like and so you’ll be going with it, and if she feels like she needs to step down she can do so. If she doesn’t comply, you can try talking to your FI or her sister depending on the dynamic of their relationships.

    Confront her and tell her that this is the dress you’ve chosen. If she doesn’t want to be in the wedding because of the dress you will understand. That’s it.

    please don’t make her your personal attendant.  there’s no need to demote her.

    You know, I had some issues with FBIL and his attire, and FI actually ended up going to his parents about it. They’re going to talk to him about it, and I at least feel better that they know about the situation and understand FI and I’s position. Since she still lives at home, you might find the rents to be really good allies.
