will they all be wearing the SAME silver shoes? Or just buying their own? if they're all different, it'll be really hard to match them all!
I think it would probably look okay; if they're picking the same ones, you probably have an idea if they're looking for light or dark, and you could get the wraps in the opposite to coordinate (light shoes, dark wraps, or dark shoes, light wraps) since they likely won't be IDENTICAL - make it look more intentional by making them more different, you know?
Yeah i see what you mean but in the end I guess I don't want it to just look "ok" I want it to look really great! lol Maybe I should do black, would that look strange? dark purple dress, silver shoes (and jewelry) and black wraps?
I like the gray/silver wrap idea and I think it will "go" either way. No one is going to be sitting there saying, "well, those shoes are a little shinier than the shawl. What was the bride thinking?" haha ;o)
But you could also go with black if that makes you feel better :o)
Do you plan onhaving them wear these wraps during formal pictures? During the ceremony? Or is it just for the "non-planned" stages of the wedding day?
I got my BM's these really nice dark grey pashminas, they all loved them because the color will go well with stuff even after the wedding. They were wearing yellow or orange dresses, and all had varying shades of cream or beige shoes. It looked pretty nice! But they didn't wear them in the ceremony or in formal pictures.
I don't plan to have them for the ceremony but for some pictures outside I'm assuming the girls might want to wear them if they are cold. I can get wraps from the dress designer that actually match the dresses in colour but I really wanted the girls to be able to use them after the wedding. I guess you probably wouldn't notice the difference in shoes to wrap. Maybe a dark grey would be better then?

Just wondering if I could get some advice. I was thinking of getting the girls wraps to go with their dresses as it will be April in Canada so could be pretty cool still. The girls will be wearing Eggplant colour bridesmaid dresses with silver shoes so I was thinking I should probably get a silver/gray wrap. However, the girls have not chosen their shoes yet so I'm wondering if it will look weird if they have shiny silver shoes and a different shade of grey wrap? Has anyone done this or have pictures of whether it looks okay or not? Thanks in advance.
