I think that's a great idea. For more of the weddings I have been in, the bride has just given the guideline of style and color, and has let us go from there. I think it's a nice small way to let the girls inject their own personality into the ensemble.
Yay, I am glad you think so. Most weddings I've been to they all wear the same shoes, but I am hoping that this will add a little spice to the mix! haha.

agreed! i am thinking of telling my bridesmaids the same guidelines. do you know if they've already found their shoes? if so, from where?

Ok Ladies,
So, all my bridesmaids have a great array of styles and tastes and that is why I love them. They have all agreed to the dress I've picked but the shoe dilemma is a whole different story. Some of them want flats, some of them want heels... they all eventually say that whatever I want is fine. FH and I are short, which means I will be wearing flats...
Can I tell all my bridesmaids to pick and sort of strappy flat gold sandal... regardless of the style/price, etc.? Or would that be a bad idea? This way they are all wearing the same type of she, but something that fits their style as well?
