Don’t know why, but friends stop being so amazing when they become bridesmaids. :/

@MrsKubes13: You. Are. Awesome. 🙂 Thanks for the giggles! I will be saving your post for future needed laughs. *sigh* Yes, even though I took so many precautions deciding only upon two bridesmaids and a Maid/Matron of Honor, of course, at least one potential bridesmaid had to fellowship with the Drama Llama. Currently, our friendship is on the line. I am making sure to see if the friendship can be repaired first before even daring to bring up bridesmaid-ness again, if at all. I hope your situation improves.

Did you pick mostly family or friends?  Mine is mostly family and they have been great so far, very easy going, but then again, so am I, so I guess it works out.

yup, i think the biggest insanity i had to deal with was one of my BMs deciding she will have her own wedding three days after mine during the week of my destination wedding…yup you read that right!  oh, and this was AFTER i had been engaged for at least six months….this Bridesmaid or Best Man says “do you mind if, since i will  be there for your wedding already, that i get married too?”  i didnt really feel i could say no. looking back i probably COULD have said “maybe its not the best idea”….but i thought it was not a bad idea until it came time to book a resort and SHE went bridezilla on me trying to dictate where i have MY wedding because it was all about her wedding now and what her FI’s family will think of the place we choose!

anyway, i won that battle and have come to terms with her wedding being after mine (and to do this i focus on MY wedding, don’t discuss wedding details with her, and rejoice in the fact that her wedding is AFTER mine….god forbid she made it before!)

So far no trouble, but I don’t expect much, just show up and wear the dress I bought and ordered for them, hope they do.

Other than that, I don’t want anyone else really except my Fiance to visit vendors, plus it is a Destination Wedding so I would never expect my Bridesmaid or Best Man to travel 2 times.  But I’m sure some argument will form eventually.
