OK I’m having major dress freak out over here for my bridesmaids. I am going to put the women into Barijay black lace over eggplant satin dresses. I am 100% certain on this piece. My issue lies in the 3 girls in my wedding. The first girl is my daughter she will be giving me away, Barijay makes a matching dress for the junoir brides maids but I’m a little meh on it. I’m not in love with it because I want her dress to be floor length not ankle length which looks to be the best we can doo with the 5 added inches. I also would like something with a little more mature of a cut for her because she’s 11 and giving me away. I found a perfect dress from Alexia designs. It will have an ivory top, eggplant skirt, and a black lace overlay under the ivory sash. The dress is floor length. I feel this dress pulls together the aspects of the bridesmaids and her role of giving the bride away since my dress is damask satin and lace in ivory. For the little girls I want to go cheap. There are two flower girls that will also be playing ring bearer. These girls are coming from the same relative and their father who takes care of them is single on one income. This is why I dont feel the need for their dresses to be expensive. I want a simple floor length eggplant satin gown with a black sash for them. This can be found almost anywhere for cheap with the right ammount of digging.
My issue is how will this work in photos? Will the colors match enough or will I end up with clashing? I am a real stickler for things matching. The groomsmen and grooms women will have forrest green vests/dress.
