I became closer with my one good friend when I was in her wedding last year. She was a wonderfuly understanding, no-stress bride which made everything easy and fun.

I have drifted a little away from 2 of my BMs from my wedding. I don’t know why but it sucks. Everyone is so busy these days and none of us even have kids!!

I was just about to create a similar thread asking if anyone lost friendships because of weddings!

Grew farther apart from my BM friend because of the annoying things she did during my wedding. I’m normally a forgiving person but when it comes to my wedding, I seem to take a hardlined approach.

Grew closer to my two sister BMs.

I was very surpised to be asked to be a bridesmaid in my one friend’s wedding. She had always been more of a friend-of-a-friend. Her MOH was our mutual friend. We started spending more time together, and I would frequently invite her over for dinner. In the end, I really appeciated the experience with her. We’re definitely good friends.

I had 5 bridesmaids and they were all equally from hell. All of these relationships have changed for the worse. I was the first person to get married in my family/group of friends, and I definitely got the short end of the stick because of it. I was incredibly accommodating to all of my girls, but they acted like selfish a-holes my entire engagement. In retrospect, I wish I never had a bridal party, which is sad.
