I really want my girls to carry something else other than a regular bouquet. Do you girls have any suggestions? Lamp, single rose/calla lily/, wrist corsage? Thanks!
When are you getting married? I was in a January wedding where I sewed muffs for us to all carry. They looked really cute and only cost about $6 a piece for supplies from the fabric store.
I second parasols if you're getting married in the spring or summer. I opted last minute to change from bouquets to parasols and I'm so glad I did. It made for some very nice pictures.
I was thinking of parasol as I'm getting married in Spring!! =) Although, I need something for them to walk down the aisle. Maybe a lantern or a long-stemmed rose would be nice.
I did have my bridesmaids walk down with only the parasols. Since I didn't pair up the bridal party, I had the girls walk down with both hands on the parasol. It looked nice and I had concerns if it would look weird too.
