I love gerberas but am not sure how much they cost. My bridesmaid worked for 5 years in a flower shop so she might be making ours.

Hydrangeas are great bouquet flowers. They seem like they cost a lot per stem, but they are actually pretty big. You can also use them as a base to support other flowers. Here’s an example of how you can do that (although it’s a centerpiece rather than a bouquet):

Ok, are you invisioning solid colored BM bouquets like this:

Or a mixture like this:

The only reason I ask is because it can really change the price.  A mixture of purple and ivory will be easier to incorporate different textures and types of flowers, while a solid purple bouquet may only be one or two textures and types of flowers for the same price point.

Which are you leaning more toward?  I can help you find relatively inexensive flower choices for either!

Carnations will probably be your least expensive option (and bunched together look modern and chic!), but tulips are unavailable in September.

Another couple purple option would be lisianthus (light purple in this bouquet):

Or hydrangea:

Do you like either of those?

I love gerbera daisies.  Not sure if they come in your color but our florist said they were a great fill in option to not add too much cost into the bouquets.  My girls are having roses and gerbera daisies in pinks and whites and they are $75 each.  Not bad considering adding in cala lillies like I had wanted at first was like $125 a bouquet.
