I think you should be able to do that! I’d ask a seamstress first, but I don’t see why it couldn’t be done:)

but as a fellow blush dress bride, I’ll tell you to check out kitty chen dresses. She has quite a few that come in blush! im wearing the ginger which is a mermaid, but I’m not sure if it is as pronounced as you mentiused you wanted. If nothing else, you can always just check her website:)

good luck!

@MrsNelson825:  First off-awesome dress, AMAZING deal! Congrats!

Second, I think that sounds TOTALLY do-able! Even if they couldn’t add enough to the bottom, they could add some to the top, too!

That dress is really gorgeous and if you can get what you want for a fraction of the cost, absolutely do it!

I don’t know much about dresses, but it seems adding to the bottom part only shouldn’t be too difficult.

I can sew pretty well and what you want is going to be really easy to do, especially for a skilled seamstress. Plus if you get the mermaid slip it will make it look really extra full. It is a gorgeous dress!

@MrsNelson825:  I got the same idea from Glamour magazine! I’ll be wearing the same exact dress for my outdoor wedding. Have you tried on any veils? I read that an ivory veil is good with a blush gown but my wedding colors are gold and pink so I MIGHT go with a gold veil but i’m not sure on length? I’ll be wearing metallic gold pumps! I’m so excited Surprised
