I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from Unique Vintage and they arrived today. OMG, They are not even the same dress pictured on the site. I am so bummed because now I have to pack them up- the ones I bought, and the other girls will have to do the same and ship them back only to have a 15% restocking fee. The dress I wanted in the picture was ivory chiffon- flowing and beautiful. The dresses recieved are gold metalic lace-cheap lace at that. What am let dowjn!
I can’t wait until the place opens tomorrow so I can call and talk to them about this.
Have you guys ever had problems with ordering one thing and receiving a complete other!!!???

Sorry you’re back to square one. That’s the risky part of ordering things online unfortunately. It’s sometimes so hard to tell from pictures or be sure they’re being represented properly.

This is WHY my BM dress debacle is going down like it is. First dress (from DB) was discontinued. Second dress was from a Chinese knock-off place – pretty much one in a thousand reviews were vaguely positive (and the kicker for me is that the dresses in a single style rarely looked enough alike.) Then it was “fend for yourself”, then “My mom says no fending for yourself, here are the options,” which turned into “Can you buy my dress? Those several don’t come in my size. No, I won’t tell you my size” and now “Um, I don’t have a dress yet or a way to get one in the next week.”
BM dress debacles SUCK.

I just spoke with the company. I told them that the dress I received wasn’t the dress in the picture on the website. I got the “all computer screens are different” excuse. I told her the dress on the website was ivory chiffon and dress I recived was gold lace…. cheap gold lace like on a dime store tablecloth. I don’t get ticked easy and I really don’t process “ticked” real well. She said sorry, same dress. I asked to speak with a manager, she said the buck stopped with her. I am so upset. I really thought I had found the one and now I am stuck with 15% restocking fees on these sad dresses.
Please beware when shopping online. : (

Oh no! Luckily you have a little bit of time. My dresses arent coming in for a couple months. Really hope they turn out the way I expected. Good luck!
