I am really close to deciding 100% if I am going to get my dress designed and made by a local fashion designer. The would come to about $500 above my budget but my FI thinks it would be worth it to have a dress designed and made for me.
I have an inspiration picture of a dress that will be made similar, but not exactly, to what I want (it’s the only pic I could find that demonstrates the design in my head as close as possible).
My question bees is what type of bridesmaids dress would go compliment this dress best? My wedding style is leaning towards black-tie optional , so I want long gowns…but I also want them wearable again under $200….so any sugestions would be great!!!

@byrdi: yes I thought of a few styles like that….do you think they should have some tpe of black lace incorporated into their dress?

@KingsDaughter: sorry it took me forever. This idea might be weird but black velvet goes great with lace or ya there are some awesome short black dresses with great lace high neck designs super cool. Love the dress.
