The only reason I say that you should go with a short dress is because you said that it was taking place on a golf course. And your wedding is in August. To me, that just screams a shorter dress. But, I think that it's all up to you and your opinion...that is what counts! But, if you are completely decided on these two dresses, I would definitely go with the first one...the second one isn't flattering at all.
I would go with a short satin dress as well, since your venue is a golf course!
ooo yes I love that color in satin~ its so much more RICH looking and classy!
I also agree that a summer wedding calls for short dresses ;]
I say if you decide to go with a long dress, go with the chiffon. It's nice and light. But if you decide on a short dress, I like the satin. So assuming you're set on long, I voted chiffon. My bridesmaids had long chiffon dresses and it was humid and 95ºF for my wedding. They were fine.
I was debating between satin and chiffon for my late August (outdoor) wedding and decided to go with the chiffon. It's a little more casual, more likely to be worn again, and lighter for the hot temps. The chiffon is so flowy and romantic, love it. :)
Thnaks everyone for hepling me out. Finally, My bridesmaids decided to go with the long chiffon dress because it looked «younger» and more fluid. Even thought the wedding is at a golf course, reception and ceremony are indoor at air conditionning. Here is a small peeked of what they will look like. Still going to be in latté colour.

I have finally decided on the colour for my bridesmaids dresses. I have 1 maid of honor and 2 bridesmaids (the will all be wearing the same thing). I'm pretty sure I want to have them long. The wedding will take place in a golf course (inddor ceremony). I need your opinion on which dress looks best, the more traditional satin dress or the more fluid chiffon dress. All bridesmaids are size 5-6 and 7-8
