I am ordering my BM dresses through J. Crew and have been really happy with their customer service. Mine will be the Sophia in silk chiffon in vintage blue http://www.jcrew.com/AST/Browse/WeddingParties/Wedding_Bridesmaid/dresses/silkchiffon/PRDOVR~96454/96454.jsp. The store in Georgetown carries the wedding collection so you can see them in person. I like them because they are simple and the materials is lovely, so I think my BMs might actually wear them again.

I am also the MoH in a wedding in October and we are getting our dresses through Juliet's Bridal in Baltimore http://www.julietsbridals.com/ or through Columbia Bridal Boutique http://columbiabridalboutique.com/ in Columbia, MD. I also bought my wedding dress at Distinctive Designs in Rockville and they had some very pretty dresses.

I went to Juliet's Bridal to try on wedding dresses and I just wanted to say that I had a great experience there. They were awesome and attentive and I would definitely consider getting my dress there if they had the exact style I was looking for. So I didn't actually do any transactions with them but my initial experience was very positive!

I've been to Garnish, which is nice but carries the really expensive dresses; I also love Betsy Robinson's Bridal in Reisterstown and Columbia Bridal Boutique.
