I really love the mismatched bridesmaid look and I have debated doing it myself. I think it works as long as you trust your bridesmaids to find dresses and I would make sure you get final say or at least see the dresses.

I love this link cause it shows how to do the mismatched look in different ways.


I’m in a crunch now to pick my own bridesmaids dresses (I also have 3) and I can’t make up my own mind. I thought about having them pick their own dresses but it worries me a little what they would pick… also I want to do coral and at this time of year you can’t really find it in the stores so we would have to wait until the spring colors come in and that makes me nervous… lol. but I definitely think it would work for you and I think blue is an easy color to find.

I love the idea of different dresses in different shades. Seeing as my 4 girls are from all over the state it just seemed easier too! In the end we are doing whatever dress they want, matching the purples as closely as we can. I think the different dress in matching or different shades is a big thing right now! Go for it!
