I am going for a very soft romantic feel for my wedding, so i picked champagne coloured dresses for my bridesmaids. Here is a pic of us at the store… there seemed to me to be plently of contrast with my dress so i wasnt too worried about them looking too white
They have now arrived and they look much lighter to me… do you think i need to worry?

I can’t see the dress- the second picture is black 🙁
It’s lovely in the first picture, though!

Maybe it’s the flash? But they do look really light

If its the exact same color that was ordered than you should have the same level of contrast, it could just be that since you dont have your wedding dress there to compare it seems lighter than you remembered.

Hm, they do look a lot lighter, but the lighting in the two photos is totally different. I wouldn’t really be able to say without seeing the new dresses next to your gown.

The first one looks lovely and PERFECT!
I think the second pictures is just too harshly bright. Could have been the flash.
but in the softer setting, the combination looks stunning! I LOVE it!

I don’t think you need to worry at all. The photographer will have professional lighting and I don’t think it will make your dress look any less white or beautiful. I think the dresses are a gorgeous color and I love them next to your dress. My sister and DH’s sisters wore ivory (not champagne) but still a neutral and I loved it.
Btw, my BM’s wore those dresses in navy and I LOVED them!! They were super flattering on all the different body types and I’m going to borrow one now to wear to an event! I even thought about getting my own in black just to have as a fancy dress.
