your dress is gorgeous! i love when bms wear different colors and dresses. those gowns and colors are beautiful! the first 2 look pretty similar though, so are you okay with the last one looking very different?
love it. i love the Torreon and it was on my short list of favorite dresses. I love the colors you chose-- it will look like a gradient. I say do it!
I love the different bm dresses! I told mine to get something aqua. I know there will be a bunch of different shades and styles and I think it'll be cool!
@kitzy: The last dress is actually my maid of honor's dress. So i think it will be okay that it is different.

those colours are beautiful! I think because they're all the same material, length & general style they're going to look absolutely gorgeous together. And I think the fact that the orange one is your MoH's dress makes it work too. Good job! <3
I just was BM dress shopping with a friend for her fall wedding this weekend. I love the factg that she picked the color (she fell in love with the sangria at David's) and wanted long dresses, but let us do the rest...and I found a dress for a very reasonable price...so different styles are great and I'm honestly loving what I've seen with different colors. The only thing I might have done different with yours is gone with an emerald or navy as just one other color in a different tone to really go with the fall colors and set off the dresses.
I think all three of those dresses will look great together.

I love classic and traditional but I love love love fashion forward and modern too. I have bought my wedding gown (the Watters Torreon which I sometimes worry is almost too fashion forward) and I have three very different bridesmaids. Ideally, I wanted them to all love their dresses but I was willing to accept them just liking the dresses a lot.
I have always thought that putting girls with different bodies in the same exact dress causes too much (mean) comparison. And what may look amazing one girl makes another look terrible, even when she is very beautiful.
So I picked a company with a lot of bridesmaid dresses that I liked. Watters was perfect. I picked 12 different dresses and e-mailed them to my bridesmaids. All of my choices were a satiny material. I also planned to order extra fabric for in the color of each of the dresses that didn't have fabric floral accents, have a seamstress make pretty floral flowers and sew them to the waistlines of the dresses that didn't have flowers. They all gave me their top 3 favorites. From their picks I got it down to 1 gown per girl.
I'd read that when ordering 2 different styles of dresses in the same color, even when ordered at the same time from the same company, the color may not match exactly. So I figured 3 different colors would make it all perfect. I wanted fall colors - deep rich colors.
