I am trying my very best to not be a stickler for a lot of things whilst planning my wedding.
That being said, I want all my BM’s to be comfortable in their dresses, and I know most of them don’t really have body issues, but I also know none of them will complain if they don’t like something, because, well, they’re AWESOME. Duh, that’s why I picked them…So I’m torn:
Do I pick one that, say, my MOH (who just had a baby), likes and is comfortable in, and have everyone else match?
Do I pick a type of dress and have all of them choose their favorite neckline?
I’ve never been a huge fan of all the dresses being different, but I’m not really picky when it comes to that sort of thing. I DO want short, chiffon, all one color (probably pearl pink) and all their heels to match, but other than that…eh…whatevs.
I dig this one, but not that color. I have 6 BM’s.
Y’all, weigh in!

I voted “all the same” but that’s just because I have a thing with stuff not matching. Call it OCD or whatever, it bugs me when everyone looks different. There’s nothing wrong with it, I just can’t do it. Try to find a dress that flatters everyone and see how it goes. If they absolutely cannot agree on the same dress then I guess go with different ones in the same fabric and color and tell them they need to look cohesive.

I choose the last option.
I had 2 girls in my first wedding that were breastfeeding and threw a fit about strapless that I wanted for the girls…..ugh. So i had to go with short sleeve dresses. I say let them choose the neckline – it’s all about how the boobs look to each of the girls too. I know i like a certain neckline. Cute dress btw!

When the dresses are all the same material and colour it actually looks quite nice when there are different options.
I chose the last option in your poll.

I really love the look of same fabric, different neckline, but it can sometimes be harder “logistically”. I find the biggest issue tends to be around coverage “up top”; often chestier girls prefer not-strapless and a higher neckline. Maybe you could try offering 2 different necklines as a compromise?
All that being said, I feel like the dress you chose would provide ample coverage for most body types so I’m guessing it would be a crowd pleaser if you wanted them all the same 🙂 Good luck!

I find it adorable when the dresses are different but something makes them look put together.

I like it best when all the dresses are the same, during the wedding ceremony you want guests watching you and your FI, not looking at all the different bridesmaids dresses

Yes, it’s a adorable dress for bridesmaid.
