So my bridesmaids have spent almost every weekend with me working on DIY stuff (without even blinking, they have truly been my rock in completeing everything). I am eternally grateful and want to get them something in addition to the robes. Does anyone have any ideas?
What are you giving your bridesmaids?

It’s nice to read a post about someone having great bridesmaids! 🙂 I would try to find something that they can keep years to come, perhaps a personalised necklace?
I’m getting mine either a very typical native bracelet or Scandinavian glass – probably this pair of candleholders:
Because they are such sources of light in my life!

I’m planning on giving my bridesmaids rose quartz earrings – each pair will be a different style. I agree with the PP – gifts are best when they are useful and can be used for years to come! 🙂

Just please don’t buy them those clear plastic water bottles that are all over this board! I don’t care if you add their initial on it or a bow, good grief! I am surprised by how popular those things are on here, yet we are far from grammar school…you can do better!!

There are great gifts on Etsy. There are beautful thin dainty bracelets and necklaces that are pretty affordable for most depending on what you pick!
Other choices that I have seen that are super personable and useful were
personalized clutches in each bridesmaids style filled with wedding day emergency stuff
photo albulms (if you are all super close) with one-two pages dedicated for each of your weddings… good for college friends who are all getting married around the same time. Its a good way of celebrating your own, past and future weddings. Especially sentimental for girls who are not engaged or in a relationship.

Definitely give them something that they would be able to use beyond the wedding day and that they would love love love. Think about what you would like to receive as well. Like I gave these organic bath salts in a pretty jar and I myself don’t even take baths. What was I thinking?! I did give a beauty/wedding kit in a Marc Jacobs make-up bag to the bridesmaids and a small Marc Jacobs purse to my MOHs. Something they all would use again and I would love to have!

@baletrina: Thanks I like that idea… I’d rather go with something practical so they can use again like you said.

@imabridesmaid: clear plastic bottles…. just reading it sounds awful…LOL… not sure what they are but I will have to see just out of curiosity. I will def stay far away from anything like that.
