Now for my next delimma lol.
I have seen a DIY bridesmaid survival kit on pinterest. What would be some good stuff to put in it? Since there are seven girls, I’m trying not to spend too much, but I would like to put something cute in it along with the usual (floss, deodorant ect.)
And also, does anyone have any idea of what kind of box I could put it in? I thought about using those little fold over mini boxes that you can get at walmart or family dollar, or possibly a basket. I just don’t know what would be cute
Now my last question, would this be ok as a bridesmaid gift? I know most people do jewelry or monogrammed robes but I want to do something a little more unique

Sierrap93: I think multiple kits with the same things would be a waste of money. Make one container with emergency supplies and be done with it, then use the money you save to buy your gifts.

i agree with julies1949. i just made one big kit for everyone to use

Sierrap93: I think you only need one survival kit, but you could still give several small gifts to your bridesmaids instead of one big, overdone gift. I have seven girls as well, and ending up getting them a tote with their name embroidered on it, and I’m filling it with personal things for them. A mini scrapbook for each of them with photos of us in it, a letter thanking them, some stationary, a personalized name hanger and shirt to wear getting ready in the morning, homemade salt/sugar scrubs and some edible goodies.

Also, I don’t think a survival kit would really be enough of a gift, you know? That, along with jewelry and monogrammed robes are FOR the wedding, so it’s not really a gift for that person. Just a thought.

I don’t think this idea is that unique and honestly, I wouldn’t have much use for a survival kit.

I’m not sure I really consider this a gift. I did something similar; I bought the girls black sparkly clutches from Nine West and stuffed them with survival supplies. The supplies were a pack of tissues, a mini bottle of champagne, tropical fruity mini hand sanitizers from Bath & Body Works, gum, a tiny compact mirror from Sephora, a tiny container of sample hand cream from Sephora and some oil-removal face clothes, also from Sephora. I considered the purses the real gifts and the survival items just cute extras. Purses were about $70/girl (on sale from $110) and then I collectively spent about $30/girl on the items.
This would be quite steep for seven girls, though, so if I wanted to stick with my original idea but make it more affordable, I’d probably get cute beach totes as the survival kit holders and forgo the expensive Sephora stuff in favour of bigger items, like cute beach towels. Good luck!
