I had to pay for my bridesmaids dresses ($160+ each) and even the alterations on one of them. My fiancé and I have already gone over budget so I don’t have much to spend on Bridesmaids gifts. I was looking at the wedding channel.com and they have such cheap looking gifts. I was considering a charm bracelet and having their initials engraved on it or one of the jewelry boxes with their initials. However, I can’t imagine the quality will be all that great given the prices. The reviews also complain about how the items were smaller than they expected.
Honestly, my sister (the MOH) is the only one who has helped me with wedding stuff and has shown the most interest in my wedding. I feel obligated to give them all a gift since it is tradition, but I don’t know what to get that is nice but inexpensive. I will get my sister something special, but I don’t know what to get my bridesmaids.
Any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe getting them a thank you card and a gift card for their favorite restaurant for like $25 each? Is that a good gift?

I have so many trinkets from being a Bridesmaid or Best Man over the years, that honestly, I’d LOVE a gc to my favorite restaurant!
(if you don’t mind them seeing how much you spent, that is)

Yes a gift card is fine. I think paying for their dresses was more than enough. Mine paid for their own dresses but I got them nice gifts in return.

If you paid for their dresses that is a gift in itself. From what I understand it is standard for the bridesmaids to pay for their own dresses unless the bride offers, and then it can be considered a gift.
But if you are going to get them something else I think the charm bracelet or the restaurant gift card would be good gifts. Think of it like you are buying a gift for their birthday, what would you buy them? I had looked at the cheaper bracelets you were talking about and I thought the same thing, just kind of doubting their quality for the price. You could always check the fashion jewelry at a department store and see if you can find a good deal there.

I think a dress is more than enough of a present, a gift card would be great too. I think something like home made cookies would be nice, you’ve already spent a lot!

I think the gift card is a great idea. That is more than most people spend anyways! I gave my girls jewelry to wear (earrings, bracelet and broach).
For my Maid/Matron of Honor, since she did more – I gave her a photo album with pictures of us though out our friendship and the funny thing is – she did the same for me lol
Here are some other ideas
Painted (personalized) wine glasses, A set of PJ’s (Victoria Secret has great ones), Picture albums or frames, or something that they are in to – so each gift is different- if one likes to read get her a new book, one likes wine – get her a nice bottle of wine- one likes to workout- a new workout outfit etc etc…

Buying the girls’ dresses is a major gift! Something small and personal would be just fine to round off the gifts!
