ok, i like the 2 strap sea glass… especially since you said your dress is vneck.. i think it would look lovely next to your dress and I like the sea glass color the best… I dint ike the ombre as much… so my vote is for number 5 🙂

charlestonmorgan: I agree with PP, I really like the idea of different necklines and different shades. They would go together nicely, and then your girls can pick whatever neckline works best for them!

    Good luck!

It seems like you and I think similarly, so here’s my thought process…I really loved the ombre look for two reasons, the pure aesthetic and the fact that my girls could literally not be any more different in skin color/shade or body type. I let them each choose the style, and assigned a color based on skin tone, in a similar palette to what you’re thinking. This is the result, but not with the girls in them yet…should be coming in next week!

So the store had samples in all of the colors, but not the correct styles, but that gives you an idea. My MOH will be in the beaded slate blue dress.

charlestonmorgan: ha, do I know the colors? You bet I do!

The dresses, besides the MOH are Donna Morgan, from lightest to darkest: Seaglass, Candy Apple, Gulfstream (added later – not shown) Spearmint, Blue Green. Their Hint of Mint was REALLY close to white.

Also, I see your handle includes Charleston…are you from there?

If you let them pick their own necklines and style – it may suit each one of them better – so I voted for #3!

I am only have 2 girls in my wedding party, but let them pick the style of the dress that most flattered them, and made them feel the most comfortable. I just made sure they were in the same matieral (chiffon), length( long) and color (Mediterranean Blue).

My dress is also v-neck, and they both went with strapless dresses. But, again, the style didn’t matter as long as it was something they liked.

lizzieb: I have to ask: where is your MOHs dress from? It’s STUNNING!

charlestonmorgan: I like the color palette with just the blues on the bottom the best. I’d let your girls pick their own neckline. The same dress doesn’t always look good on everyone. That way, each girl can feel comfortable and wear a dress that best flatters her! Because they will be the same length and fabric, it will still look very coheasive.
