So all the groomsmen and my Fiance are wearing kilts for the wedding, and the bridesmaids will all have the same black cocktail dress. Our flowers are all red.
My Fiance brought up the idea of having all the bridesmaids wear different coloured shoes to match the colours in the tartan (see pic). I’m just worried that this will look weird with only red flowers. What do you think?
I’m also worried that it may be difficult to find shoes in the various colours (I’d like them all to have peeptoes, and the wedding is about two months away.)
Or is there another way I could incorporate the different colours? Like, they can wear different coloured accessories or something? Or should I just stick with my black and red?

People have their bm’s in different color dresses. I don’t know why you shouldnt have different colored shoes.

with black dresses, i think different colored shoes would be really neat! not crucial though. if you can’t find all different colors, then going with red will obviously look great too, but i really do like the idea of the differnet colored shoes.

Does this answer your question?
Many shoes come in several colors. Or you could let the maids pick their own peep toe in the color you want or they sort out for themselves.

I love that idea! My original plan was to have all my girls in different jewel tone shoes, but then I changed it to fuchsia shoes. They will all have different shoes, so they will be different shades. I am letting them pick because what’s worse than uncomfortable shoes that don’t fit?!
