We had this happen back when I was in girl scouts. I don’t remember what the occasion was, but all the parents were notified that we would be going for pajama breakfast and we were going to be “kidnapped.” Normally, I sleep in until as late as possible, but for some reason I woke up absurdly early that day and was confused as to why my mom insist that I stay in my pajamas and no, I can’t have breakfast.

@Laurenplusalex:  lol luckily OP is at her parent’s house – but I totally agree! And I’d have to throw on an appropriate pair of pjs. And wake up extra early to brush my teeth lol.

@sunkissed19:  I would worry more about having a great pair of pj’s and a robe  on than cleaning the house!

We used to do this in high  school. It was great fun.

@julies1949:  Yeah, all of the girls would do this at least 2x during whatever season of the sport that was being played. I only did field hockey freshman year – but it was definitely fun!

Awww, that’s definitely a sweet move for them to do. My BM’s are not morning people whatsoever.

@Ms_Purple:  are you very young? It reminds me of sorority/college days.

@HonoraryNerd:  This exact same thing happened to me when I was in first grade. I woke up early to watch Saturday morning cartoons, and my dad came in all “You have to get up and go, some people are here to kidnap you,” and I just stubbornly refused to believe him until he explained the whole thing.

this is very sweet. I’ve never heard of anything like this before, but I think it’s cute. That said, I sleep in absolutely nothing but a silk scarf on my head, so I’d be grateful to whoever accidentally let it slip!
