I highly recommend

sunfashioncanada.com

they have boleros in a variety of colors.  I’ve ordered from them several times

Ooh! Pretty dresses!

A good longline or strapless bra should work, and I think allowing your maids who feel more comfortable with spaghetti straps to have them. I am not really a fan of spaghetti straps, but I am currently a FF cup and have decided I am going to use the ones that came with my strapless dress for my DSD’s wedding later this month.

I also love the ideas of grey shrugs/boleros! I think they’ll look adorable with those dresses!

can you just have thicker straps added for the bridesmaids who need to wear a bra?

I got a bolero from Jasmine’s Bridal Shop— there are tons of threads on this site about them– cost about $80 and was beautifully made. Couldn’t have been happier with it. You can probably get the cost down quite a bit as I went for the upgraded seamstress work and a rush order.  All of the sample photos are in white but they sent me a big file of color samples to pick from, most of which were not white. So they have tons of choices in both design and color.

@vintagefair:  I would think that if they wore a nude bra or a bra with clear straps they wouldn’t be noticeable.

@vintagefair:   After a lot of searching, I just ordered this beautiful, longline, strapless bra from http://www.bravissimo.com in the UK to wear under my dress for my DSD’s wedding. (I will say that the boning is not very stiff. However, it’s an absolutley gorgeous garment, and it serves its purpose in helping to defy gravity, lol!)

ETA:  I should add that I learned about this site from another bee! 🙂
