Pick a color and allow them to choose the style and shade. They’ll know their own bodies best; this will allow them to pick what works for them so they are confident (which is beautiful!) on your day.

I don’t think anyone will mistake them for guests – they’ll be the ones standing at the front! There’s no universally flattering exact color or style, so if you want them all to look and feel good about the dress (plus, pick their own budget) then there’s no single dress you can choose. I was in a wedding where everyone picked a shade of teal/sea green and it was really lovely … gorgeous pictures, lots of compliments from the guests, and every girl looked AMAZING because she picked a shade and style that suited her perfectly. It will be fine.

Koalaclark:  As the pp’s have said, the kindest thing you can do is have them choose their own dress in your chosen color. Go to the paint store and choose a paint chip in the color you like. Get one for each girl. It makes shopping so much easier when they don’t have to try to remember what the color looked like.

You can see  many lovely examples by searching “Bridesmaids wearing same color, different styles”
