SM_xo:  Have you thought about DIY?  These are a couple of necklaces I made all for under $20

Search for “statement necklace” or “bubble necklace” on AliExpress and DHGate. You will find tons for just a few dollars a piece. I love the idea of bold necklaces with black dresses.

I personally really hate the ultra matchy look- it just kind of creeps me out.  I don’t like the completely mismatched look either- that looks sloppy.  I like matching either the dresses or the accessories.  I think a big statement necklace might look like too much on all the girls- especially because there are distintive details on their dress.  My maid of honor, my sister, will be the only one wearing one.  It is a special statement necklace given to her my our grandmother and it will distinguish her from the other bridesmaids.

SM_xo:  There are lots of necklaces in your price range at places like Forever21, H&M, Charlotte Russe.

Because of the rhinestone bow at the waist, I would stay away from rhinestone necklaces- at least clear ones, and likely choose an all black necklace.

SM_xo:  I love the blue necklace. If you pick a color other than black, I would remove the rhinestone pin, although that would be a shame as it is so cute. You could pin it on  a clutch.

Jewlery TV, jtv.com.  I’ve had great luck with them.

whenever I see photos of a bride with her bridal party and all the bms are wearing statement necklackes, the first thing my eye is drawn to is the necklaces. And my first thought is usually, “WHY did they wear those!?” Sorry, just my opinion! I realize they are somewhat wedding trendy right now.
