I hate to say it, but navy will probably stick out. He would be the only one in a dark color, right? I'd say he should match the guys in order to blend in. Or he could go grey... I'm sure it will look great no matter what you choose!
Oh I misread that the bridesmaids were in grey. Now I get it! Navy is just fine!!! Sorry.

Hey Bees! I think I have a good answer already, but please let me know what you think:
I have 5 bridesmaids and a "bridesman" also. Mr Rocky Point has 6 groomsmen. I got a call today from my bridesman today, he wants to wear something different than the other guys, so that he matches the ladies more, since he will be on my side of the chapel/pictures/etc. the ORIGINAL PLAN was for the guys (including bridesman and fathers) to wear ivory tuxedos with ivory shirts and navy blue vests and ties. ivory shoes too. (groom has ivory vest and tie, my dad has pink vest and tie) ok, and the ladies are wearing navy blue 15-way convertible dresses with a silvery/gray fabric flower accent that is similar to the ivory one on my dress, silver shoes and silver jewelry. their bouquets are a variety of pinks.
My bridesman wanted to know if he could wear a navy blue tuxedo so that he doesn't "stick out like a sore thumb" next to the bridesmaids.My MOH talked about it, and thought a navy tux with silver/grey shirt/tie/vest would be nice. I told him to locate a navy tux that is similar in appearance to the ivory ones, and I would make sure its okay. I honestly don't think he will be able to find a decent navy blue tux, as I had originally been looking for one and couldn't find one at a reasonable price. But, hey, its on him :)
