You could definitely add little Godzilla claws or a monster mask and then cover yourself in glitter and make sure everything is just slightly askew with your hair and makeup. Maybe draw some permanant frown lines on your forhead? Fangs? Steam coming out of your ears? thought bubble with a horrible bridezilla moment on you mind? Excessive amount of Tulle? Lot’s of I’m the bride stickers or blinking badge things? Ooooh…just soo many options!

Are you going to the one in Reading?! With Party Pleaser?!

I was thinking about it. But I probably won’t dress up! (Lol. Maybe I can get my FH to dress as bridezilla? THAT would be scary!)

I haven’t been to any of the bridal events or stores in the area so far. Do you have any suggestions? Any events or places you would recommend?!

That’s awesome! It sounds like you got some GREAT deals! We have a venue (The Redmoor in Cincy) and we hired TM Photography (god knows we wouldn’t have been able to if my parents weren’t paying!). I think we’re going to buy our table linens and sell them back. efavormart.com has some good prices! We’re hoping to go with Robin Wood for the florist. She gave us the most reasonable of the quotes and didn’t seem as crazy as the others! Were aren’t doing a wedding cake…so no baker needed! We’re doing a donut cake (cheap!) and having gelato (it’s the BEST!).  I haven’t even started looking at dresses, but I’d be more than willing to check out what Bridal n Tux has when that time comes! I didn’t realize the 5th was the final number for a free tux…hmm…maybe he needs another groomsman? Or the ushers need one? I  like free!! As for invites…I think we’re going with ETSY or http://www.lauranehls.com/ (she also sells on ETSY). They’re a little pricey @ $6.50 a pop, but they’re SOOOO PRETTY!!!

That’s awesome you’re going to school for that! It sounds like a lot of fun! A lot of work too, but definitely a fun, creative field! We have hired Tres Chic Events for week-of coordination already though! Of course, if things get too crazy on me…I’m not above hiring additional help!! Some things are just better to pay for so you don’t have to worry…. =)

By the way, your venue looks really pretty!

Donut cakes!

I sometimes wish we were paying for things ourselves. It’s like you have to get a committee together just to make a decision! That’s why I’ve had to get so much done already. I was told week 1 of our engagment that I had to get things booked immediately or I would be stressing my mom out! So, I had to do all of the research weeks 1-3 and present the findings to her…then go on the interviews with my FH, report back…give her and my dad the detailed budget in Excel with tabs for actual, estimated, variances based on attendance etc. and once they agreed on the vendor, send them the contract for review…they approve me signing and then it’s booked. If I hadn’t have gotten it all done ASAP, I think I would have lost my mind!!!!! It’s nice to have the money given to me….but don’t think for a minute it doesn’t have a thousand strings attached!

Frosted looks pretty cool! I used to do wedding cakes with my great-grandma years ago (that’s why we’re not doing one…I’m burnt out on eating frosting! Lol!

$6.50 is DEFINITELY not in the cheap range! I do know that ETSY has sooo many more that are though! Plus, there are some great DIY pages here too!
